Hello! I’m working on a not-for-profit documentary on Chinatown/Canal St and would love to use this photo. How do I go about getting permissions for that? Thanks so much!
I have a photograph of “C. Hesse Groceries” storefront. The photo is taken from the street in the 1880’s. The address is listed as 34 Chrystie in the 1882-1882 City Directory. The address seems to place it very near the address above and the storefront looks very similar to the ones above.
Great to see the photo’s of a moment in time capturing every day city life, a time not really that long ago. Thanks
